About Stan
Stan has been a voice specialist from his youth on. Born in a musical family, he excelled at singing, began playing the trombone at age 12, then joined an established 17 piece big band at 19, where he played trombone and was the band’s singer. While in college at the University of Louisville, Stan switched to the school of music where he developed his talent for professional show business with plans to make a hit in New York. Arriving in New York City at the age of 21 after performing in 10 Broadway musicals at the St. Louis Muny Opera, Stan was now a member of Actor’s Equity, and being on Broadway was the goal. After a few twists and turns in the road, Stan entered the world of Broadcasting, with a two-year stint as a weathercaster at an NBC TV station in Iowa. Radio and TV jobs followed, including a ten-year stint in Chicago.

Because of his performing background, Stan has developed his own sound studio at home, with the ability to voice commercials, eLearning, audiobooks, and promos. His studio offers full editing. A big portion of a 20-year career in radio and tv was spent in marketing and sales management. Stan studies acting with Benjy Dobrin out of Denver. He’s had great voiceover coaches, including Susan Berkley and Tia Marlier.
